President/CEO, Beach Pit BBQ
Costa Mesa, CA
As a professional baseball player traveling throughout the country, Tim DeCinces longed to bring the great taste and hospitality of Southern BBQ to his native Southern California. After retiring from baseball in 2003, Tim did just that. Now he is the President and CEO of Beach Pit BBQ in Costa Mesa, where he divides his time between good food and good causes. Tim’s recipe for success involves high quality ingredients, friendly service and community involvement. “We always look forward to serving up lots of chili cheese fries for charity and to support the local community.” Tim also appreciates the personal touch he gets from Banc of California: “If there’s anything I need, I just pick up the phone.”
Business owners are the driving force behind our communities. They provide vital products and services as well as jobs. Today, many business owners and entrepreneurs believe part of their mission is to give back to the communities they serve. When a bank looks at its business owner clients as partners in building communities instead of product consumers, businesses grow, communities are enriched, and dreams become reality. That benefits everyone from the entrepreneur to the employees to the customers to those touched by social outreach.
