Clinton Global Initiative
Strengthening California's Communities.
Banc of California is proud to join the Clinton Global Initiative community, whose members have made more than 3,500 commitments improving the lives of over 430 million people the world over. CGI America is an annual event that brings together leaders from the business, philanthropic, NGO and government sectors to address significant global challenges.
Our Commitment to Action sets a new standard for banks around the country, setting us on the road to meet the needs of California’s low income communities who have long been inequitably served by financial institutions. Our community development plan includes affordable housing programs, job creation through small business lending, financial literacy programs and services designed to reach the under-served.
Our Commitment To Action.
At the 2015 Clinton Global Initiative America meeting, Banc of California announced its Commitment to Action to create a new $200 million Public Welfare Fund.
Our Commitment to Action mission is to become a powerful agent in funding the engines of growth to strengthen California’s economy, aiding in recovery from the damage resulting from bank failures in the past. Our Commitment to Action is a step towards leading the way forward, reclaiming a brighter future for California’s businesses, homeowners, and communities.
