On October 15, the Private Bank of California merged with some of Southern California’s strongest banking institutions to form Banc of California. With $3.5 billion in combined assets and over 70 banking and lending locations, we will be large enough to meet all your banking needs, yet small enough to serve you well–and with the same level of service and attention to detail that has always been at the heart of our banking business.

The transition to the Banc of California system took place at 8:00am (PST) on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

Please read the Customer Frequently Asked Questions & Answers below concerning the transition. This will answer questions regarding what will change, what you need to do and who to contact for questions.

Did the bank website change?

Yes. At 8:00 a.m. (PST) on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, www.tpboc.com changed to www.bancofcal.com. You can access your accounts online directly at www.bancofcal.com.

Is the name of the Online Banking Login changing?

No. For Personal Online Banking, the login did not change.

Yes. For Business Online Banking, Cash Management Services changed to Business Banking.

How do I Login to my Online Banking?

You simply login using your current Private Bank of California User ID and Password, They will become your Banc of California ID and Password.

Do I need to create and answer "Challenge Questions" again?

No.

Once I have successfully logged in, will my Online Banking look different?

Yes. Your current Personal Online Banking has become Banc of California's Personal Online Banking, which will feature the new logo and colors. The functionality will remain the same.

Yes. Your current Cash Management Banking has become Banc of California's Business Online Banking, which will feature the new logo and colors. The functionality will remain the same.

What about Bill Pay?

Yes. For both Personal and Business Bill Pay, the look of the application has changed. It will feature the new logo and colors. The functionality will remain the same.

Will my transaction history be available?

Yes.

Will my previous eStatements be available?

Yes.
